Refocusing on the Moral Compass
“So I’m a typical product of what the media portrays. From young, I’ve always been under the influence and impression that to be happy, is to be successful. And to be successful, is to be wealthy. So I led my life according to this motto.” These are the words from Dr Richard Teo who shared his experiences at a Dental Christian Fellowship Meeting in early January 2012.
“So many people are blessed with good wealth, but the trouble is I think a lot of us can’t handle it. The more we have, the more we want. I’ve gone through it, the deeper the hole we dig, the more we get sucked into it, so much so that we worship wealth and lose focus,” said Dr Teo, a 40-year millionaire and cosmetic surgeon in Singapore.
Dr Teo was diagnosed with a stage-4 lung cancer in March 2011 and died a few weeks ago on 18 October 2012. Click on this link if you wish to read the transcript of Dr Richard Teo’s talk.
My friend Roy emailed me last week with Dr Teo’s birthdate and asked if I could share my views on identifying the health signs related to lung cancer.
Frankly, I don’t know when a person will die using the EON method. I’m not God or his messenger. But I can share with you the tendency signs that may worsen a person’s inner health condition if they don’t take care of their health. The tendency signs in a person’s EON chart could suggest both positive and negative vibes, and these could influence a person’s perspective, life purpose, and habits. However, the degree of the influence level is determined by a person’s family upbringing, environment, moral values, social lifestyle and habits; and it do affect their life path and health. Many people born on the same day as Dr Teo are still fit and healthy, contributing to society positively without losing their “moral compass” while enjoying the journey of their life path.
You may want to buy my book “Elements of Numbers: Fast and Easy Character Profiling” if you’ve not already done so. I’ve described the traits and body organs associated to the Five Elements in my book and you can refer to them when analysing a chart. Today’s article is special as I’m writing it more like a case study revision with “subtle hints” for participants who’d attended my recent EON WORKSHOP sessions. I apologise if you don’t understand certain “terminologies” used as I’m listing the key points on health matters that I’ve shared with the participants at the workshop sessions. So do bear with me….
1) The Metal element in Dr Teo’s Birth chart is [restrictedarea]rather strong. In the Five Elements, we associated Metal to the lungs, respiratory, immune, skin, and mental (brains). When Metal is strong, it could affect the Wood (liver), weakens the Earth (digestive, muscle) or strengthens the Water (kidney). Check Page 81 of my book to read up the Five Elements and its effect on the body organs.
2) The two sets of 4-8-3 present in Dr Teo’s PY2011 chart suggested certain negative vibes could be triggered indirectly and these may affect his health. The 4-8-3 vibes manifested the Fire element and these affect the Metal. In the Five Elements, strong Fire will “attack” or “control” and weakens the Metal element. As mentioned in previous articles, strong Fire can affect the lungs.
3) The 4-5-9 and 5-4-9 patterns in his PY2012 chart could suggest the manifestation of the Wood element. Strong Wood will repel and affect the Metal (lungs) and possibly weakens the Earth (intestine, digestive) elment too. We associated Wood to the emotions and liver.
4) The “Heavenly Send-Off” pattern is present in Dr Teo’s chart. This pattern is only made known to 5th/6th EON Workshop participants. I’ve emphasized at the recent 2 workshops that having such patterns does not automatically imply a “heavenly” farewell for the person. However, if a separate “life threatening” pattern is also present in the current Personal Year (PY) chart, [/restrictedarea]then this person must take extra care of his health.
5) There are tendency signs suggesting high blood sugar if the person does not control their food and drinks intake containing high carbohydrate, sugary stuff, and alcohol. Moderation is important as otherwise, excessive unhealthy intake could affect the person’s liver and kidneys.
Try to correlate the tendency signs in Dr Teo’s EON chart and as well as his Personal Year 2011 and 2012 charts. His talk was touching, inspirational and emotional. Money cannot buy happiness and joy, and does not solve every human-created problem. He strikes the right chord when he said, “True joy comes from interaction with other people.”
It doesn’t mean you will face the same fate if you happen to have the same birth date or similar EON chart. Do an Internet search and you’ll find many celebrities born on the same day as Dr Richard Teo are still holistically healthy, fit and alive. It all depends on how you live the life you want. Although Dr Teo is physical fit, his inner health is not. Fast cars, social clubbing and drinking, and working out at gyms does not make a person holistically fit. Besides physical fitness, you need to understand and take care of your inner health.
Remember, Health is Wealth.
