On Camila Mendes’ Eating Disorder
According to this People.com article, Camilla Mendes “reveals she struggled with an eating disorder.”
The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) site states, “Eating disorders are actually serious and often fatal illnesses that cause severe disturbances to a person’s eating behaviors. Obsessions with food, body weight, and shape may also signal an eating disorder. Common eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder.”
So, what this implies is that eating disorder can go either ways – fear or flight. The fear of getting obese (anorexic) or the flight to escapism (binge-eating). Other celebrities known to have suffered from eating disorders, as reported in various online sites, includes John Travolta, Russell Brand, Paula Abdul, Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Alanis Morissette, Elton John, and the late Karen Carpenter and Princess Diana.
Can we identify the eating disorder pattern using the Elements of Numbers (EON) method?
I’m not sure about other methods (like PON and UCMHP) but since the key essence of the Elements of Numbers (EON) method is based primarily on the Five Elements principles, I’d say it is not difficult to identify signs associating to eating disorders.
Some years back, I was analysing charts of celebrities, like some of the earlier-mentioned celebrities, and others like Audrey Hepburn, Katherine McPhee, Maureen McCormick, and a few others. I noted some signs on their charts, but as usual, it was not conclusive as there were different kinds of eating disorders. So I documented my findings and put my observations aside for future reviewing.
With Camila’s revealing about her eating disorders, I decided to revisit the previous case study’s charts. It was easy for me, thanks to the FEON+ software that allows me to keep track of all charts, and displaying them within seconds. When I expanded the pattern to include other eating disorders (besides the Anorexia Nervosa symptom), I could identify extra or new tendency signs in the charts that I have “put on hold” or KIV (keep in view) previously.
Yes, the eating disorder pattern is present in Camila’s chart. In addition, she also needs to control her blood sugar level as the tendency signs are suggesting she’s in the high-risk group of people with potential diabetes condition. She also needs to ensure she gets hydrated regularly to avoid any uterus or cervical problem. Next, she must continue to work on her EQ and communicative skills to improve her social and working relationships with others.
I noticed the eating disorders pattern needed not always have to be present in a person’s birth chart. If it is, the likelihood of the person to suffer from some form of eating disorders might be higher. However, if such pattern appears in the periodic chart (like Personal Year, Personal Month, And Personal Day), there could be more opportunities for that person to go on binge-eating spree or suddenly going on an obsessively crash-diet eating workout regime during that period.
Users attending my next Saturday’s FEN WORKSHOP class will know the eating disorder pattern. One UCMHP student registered for the FEN WORKSHOP yesterday after finding out two of his course mates has already registered earlier. He wrote in his email, “my course mate said you provide a better explanation.” Thanks, and I’m glad to know many users still appreciate my EON research findings and passionate information sharing. Well, it’s probably not that my explanations are better; it’s more likely that his UCMHP friends could digest what I’ve said and understand to a greater degree.
Many UCMHP students would have heard of Dr Bernard Yeo’s quote, which goes with something like, “Anything that can be predicted, can be prevented.” While it’s easier said than done, nothing can be prevented entirely in reality. What’s more important is to dilute the negative energies, if that is what you’re fearing about, rather than avoiding or preventing them from happening. To do that, i.e., diluting the negative energies, require an understanding of the way nature works – how the Five Elements’ energies could influence and affect us. It is equally important to understand the why’s and how’s certain patterns are derived, the “if” and “when” things or events could happen, and the “what” or “where” are the alternative choices a person can take to manifest the positive vibes, or dilute the negative energies.
Even if you discover you have the eating disorder pattern in your PY2017 or PY2018 chart, you need not to go through a crash-diet course and start taking salad, organic or vegan food; or exercise excessively. Remember, everything thing must be done in moderation.
I’d prefer rephrasing the quote to something like, “Anything that can be predicted, can be moderated.” It empowers you the ability to make wise decisions based on circumstantial facts than fixed theoretical rules. Knowing when to manifest and when to let go – and how to moderate – could lead to fewer stressful moments and better, lasting outcomes.
If you attended the PON or UCMHP courses elsewhere before, don’t ponder over trying to understand the theories about numbers. Register now and attend FEN WORKSHOP, and have a fun and shorter time understanding the fundamentals through visual profiling.
PS: As the FEN WORKSHOP is confirmed, and there are a few seats left, you may still register before 9pm, Friday (27th). I need to moderate my time, and have enough sleep to revitalise my mental energies as class starts the next day on Saturday, 28th October 2017.
